As a "teacher mommy" I'm always on the lookout
for those special, "teachable moments". Seeing Jessie`s
face light up when we first walked into Niagara`s
Butterfly Conservatory was a perfect moment. She started
`flapping her wings`and could hardly get the word `butterfly`
out as she watched them flutter around her. When I managed
to get one to stay on my finger long enough for Jessie to see,
she was so careful, so gentle and completely in awe of the
beautiful little butterfly. I forget sometimes how amazing
the world and all its creatures are and love that Jessie
reminds me of this from time to time.
What a joy being a mommy is ...
